This is the card I created using it.  

My sister and her hubby are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary next week so this was prefect timing for me to create an anniversary card for them.  To make the numbers I took to pieces of number grunge board and inked them up with embossing ink.  I then started adding layers of fine detail silver embossing powder.  Adding each layer as the last layer was still hot and melty.  There must be about 10 layers on them to get a nice smooth finish.

Whimsy Stamps Challenge~Shaped Cards

Happy Anniversary!

Hello it is time for this weeks Greeting Card Challenge at The Outlawz!  This weeks the challenge is to create a wedding or anniversary card and use gold or silver.

I used The Northwoods by Theresa Momber from Gina K Designs.  I started by using post it notes so I could create a horizin and sponged with mementos in yellows and oranges.  To finish I stamped the tress, then with copic marker C0 I added in some shadows of the trees. I used Charlie from Stamp Art Designs.  Isn't he just darling?  I love his sweet face and he reminds me of my son when he was younger.  Charlie is colored with copics.  To create the background I crumpled up some sage card stock and distressed the edges.  I then added the layer of burlap and added the sentiment/sign.

Repeat Impressions Designers Choice Challenge

Hello, I hope all is well with you.  I have to confess I have been keeping a secret.  About a month ago Wendy from Repeat Impressions contacted me and ask if I would be interested in being on the design.  My answer was yes of course and I am not a Repeat Impressions Rock Star.  I am super excited and I know that I will have so much fun with these gorgeous and inspiring stamps.  Thank you Wendy for this wonderful and fun opportunity.  Okay it is on to my first post.

This weeks Designer's Choice challenge for Repeat Impressions is brought to you by Joyce.  Joyce has a fun challenge for you to use Fur, Fin or Feather on your project.  For my card I used Great Blue Heron #1704.

Spring Gardening

Butterfly Flourish

Hello and Happy Saturday!  today I have a card I made using Butterfly Flourish Set 2 from  Chrissy's Digis the new digital release from Whimsy Stamps. 

The sentiment is from Smile Sentiments.  Did you see that feather?  I found it at Michaels last week and had to have it.  There are beautiful teal, purple and gray feathers in the bag.  I am going to have a lot of fun with them.

Smiles Across The Miles

Hello I have a super quick post to show you a card I made with Hot Air Balloons from Moon Cookie Gallery for Whimsy Stamps.

 The sentiment is from Everyday Mini Postage Stamp Sentiments and cut out with Mini Postage Die.  The balloons are colored with copics(colors below) and the background is sponged with Memento Summer Sky and a handmade cloud template.  Thank you for stopping by.
